We recommend the Neck Liposuction if:

It aims to reshape the lower third of the face and the neck and the removal of excess fat of the chin.

Length of Neck Liposuction:

anaesthesiology: the facial surgery is performed with local anaesthesia, which takes 30-60 minutes.

We make a small incision at the lower part of the chin and the fat there is treated with saline, adrenaline and local anaesthesia.
After that a special, small sized drain is driven in and the desired amount of fat tissue is sucked out.
After 1-2 weeks the flexible bandage is removed and the patient can return to his or her normal life.

Advice after neck liposuction:

Massage is recommended after the surgery.

Rare complications of neck liposuction:

Temporary bruising, slight inflammation.

We recommend the Liposuction if:

Liposuction is applied to remove local excess fat. Our patients would like to get rid of the excess fat from the areas of stomach, hip, buttocks, waist and knees, even after a diet, in order to remove the remaining fat. Moreover, with the use of thin cannulas the areas of face, ankles, and dewlap can be shaped as well. It is recommended to wear a flexible wrap body on the treated area for a couple of weeks.
Liposuction has a long lasting result, as it reduces the number of fat cells significantly at the treated area, and those cells will not be reproduced. Even in the case of extreme weight gain, those areas wouldn’t get fat; the proportions of the body would remain long lasting.

Our plastic surgeons perform the liposuction with a very tiny, barely visible incision.

The difference between the various methods lies in the ways the fat is loosened, thus we differentiate between traditional, ultrasonic, vibration and laser liposuction.

After liposuction:

The length of liposuction treatment can be ambulant or it can mean one night stay-in.
After the surgery, the patient should wear a compression bandage for 6 weeks. The removal of sutures happens one week after the surgery. After the surgery we should avoid doing sports for 3-6 weeks.

Advice after liposuction:

The wrap body can be removed for 20-25 minutes after a week, but the bandage cannot be removed.
The bruised area should be treated with ice gel 5-7 times a day for 15-20 minutes. (it’s important to wrap it into a towel or a pillow case)
If there appears in a lower body part: the wrapping bandage should be removed, you should lie down, and raise your leg high for 20 minutes, and then you should put on the wrapping bandage again.
A special vacuum massage device can be applied for the treating any unevenness some weeks after the liposuction.

Possible consequences:

Postoperative bleeding, skin nerve damage, inflammation, swelling, whey hyperplasia, complications might occur during anaesthesia, but these are very rare among proper surgical circumstances. Surficial contour unevenness, skin tone change, scars, asymmetry can occur, but all these complications can be fixed with repeated surgeries. Of course, a lot depends on how much the patient obey the doctor’s instructions.
